Tree Services

Jay's Yard Maintenance & Tree Service is licensed and registered with the NJ Board of Tree Experts. This is a requirement for a business performing tree care services in New Jersey. Registered businesses must provide the NJ Board of Tree Experts proof of adequate insurance and worker's compensation coverage, abide by adopted industry standards, provide safety training for employees and submit safety documentation annually. The registered business must have at least one licensed person on staff. It must also display their certificate of registration in their place of business as well as prominently display their registration NJTC number on every service vehicle operated to perform tree care services in New Jersey.

A Licensed Tree Care Expert is an individual who meets the experience and educational requirements for licensure, passed the New Jersey Board of Tree Experts' licensure examination, and is otherwise subject to the requirements set forth at N.J.S.A. 45:15C-11, et seq. and N.J.A.C. 7:3A-1.1, et seq.​

Jay's Yard Maintenance & Tree Service has an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) member, NJ ISA Chapter member, ISA Certified Arborist and a Licensed Tree Care Operator on staff.
